Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Short version: our plans are one-time annual payments that never auto-renew, and you can ask for a full refund within 7 days. Email xambaaz2k26@gmail.com.

1. What you are buying

XamBaaz sells two plans: Student at ₹999 for one year and Educator at ₹2,999 for one year. Each is a single one-time payment for a fixed twelve-month term.

There is nothing to cancel in the usual sense — these are NOT subscriptions. No recurring mandate is created on your card, UPI or bank account, and nothing auto-renews. At the end of the year your access simply returns to the free plan unless you choose to pay again.

2. Try before you pay

Every regular chapter on XamBaaz includes one Easy quiz and one Medium quiz free, permanently, along with free Key Concepts revision notes. We would much rather you use the free plan first and pay only once you know the platform suits you — that is exactly why the free floor never expires.

3. Refund window

If you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your payment. Email us from the address on your XamBaaz account and we will process it.

We may decline a refund request beyond 7 days, or where an account has been used substantially — for example large-scale downloading of question papers, or evidence of account sharing. In genuine cases outside the window we would still rather hear from you than not; write to us and we will look at it fairly.

4. How to request a refund

Email xambaaz2k26@gmail.com from the email address registered on your XamBaaz account, with the Razorpay payment ID or the payment confirmation you received, and a one-line reason (it helps us improve).

We acknowledge refund requests within 2 working days.

5. When you will get the money back

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we initiate it, the amount typically reaches you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

We do not offer cash refunds or transfers to a different account from the one used to pay.

6. Failed and duplicate payments

If money left your account but your access did not unlock, do not pay again — write to us first. We can see the payment against your email and will either activate your access or refund it.

Genuine duplicate payments for the same plan are refunded in full, and this is not subject to the refund window above.

If a payment fails at the gateway and your bank still shows a debit, it is usually an authorisation hold that your bank releases automatically within a few working days. Tell us anyway so we can track it with Razorpay.

7. If you paid with a different email

Access is granted automatically by matching the email you paid with to the email on your XamBaaz account. If you paid using a different address — a parent's email, for instance — the payment is recorded correctly but access is not applied automatically.

This is not a lost payment and does not need a refund. Email us with the payment ID and the account email, and we will apply the year to the right account, usually the same day.

8. Access granted through a school or institute code

If your access came from a school, coaching centre or institute code rather than your own payment, refunds are handled with that institute, since the payment was theirs. Ask your coordinator, and we will support them.

9. If we end your access

If we disable a paid account for breaching our Terms of Use — for example account sharing or content scraping — a refund is at our discretion. If we disable an account in error, we restore it and extend your paid term by the time you lost.
